The Amount of Information Does Not Equal Intelligence

There is no doubt that AI (an LLM) has a tremendous amount of knowledge in its dataset, not to mention it can access the internet and you can upload text/photos to it too. It has knowledge accumulation locked.

But simply amassing knowledge doesn’t mean that something is intelligent. Before LLMs, your computer hard drive could store a vast amount of information, from text documents, to photos, to music, to videos, etc., but no one was talking about it being intelligent. It was just a storage device.

In the same way, we need to remember that though LLMs do have much knowledge, they are not de facto intelligent.
